Suppose you’ve been on social media for any length of time. In that case, you’ve probably seen arguments between fans of the “Snyderverse” Superman and fans of the upcoming DCU Superman. While there have been serious discussions, there has also been a lot of tribalism.

Jod’s apparent heel-turn was predictable, but not in a bad way. Jude Law plays the character so well that it’s believable he may have the party’s best interests in mind. While I don’t expect him to be a true good guy, I also don’t think he wants to risk slaughtering innocent children, even if he is using them to get a selfish reward.
