7) Julian Glover

Julian Glover as Pycelle in Game Of Thrones

Julian Glover is no stranger to genre roles. Most recently, Game Of Thrones fans saw him as Grand Master Pycelle. He portrayed the main antagonist in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which coincidentally co-starred fellow Imperial officer Michael Sheard.

Julian Glover appears as Scaroth in City Of Death

Glover is another actor who appeared in multiple Doctor Who stories. He played the heroic Richard The Lionheart in the William Hartnell story The Crusades. Glover also had a villainous role as Scaroth, the main antagonist of the 1979 Tom Baker story City Of Death.

Like Sheard, Glover was briefly seen in The Empire Strikes Back. The name General Veers may be better known by it being bellowed by Darth Vader himself, but he did have a famous moment telling Vader that Comscan has detected an energy field. This was right before Vader strangled Glover’s Indiana Jones co-star.
