Continue reading Geekville Radio #267Henry Cavill has reportedly signed a three-picture deal with Warner Brothers to return as Clark Kent, aka Superman.
Cavill, who last played the role in 2017’s Justice League, had been rumored to be leaving the role. Those rumors hit their peak when he declined to cameo in Shazam the following year.
Details about the deal are scarce at this time, but all the reports point to it being three films with cameos in other DCEU movies. Whether those three films will be Superman solo outings or team-ups like another Justice League have yet to be confirmed. That said, Cavill fans can breathe easy knowing that the 37-year-old actor will be donning the tights for years to come.
In addition to Superman, Cavill has a lot of work at the table. He co-stars with Millie Bobby Brown in Netflix’s Enola Homes which will premiere this month. He also has at least one more season of The Witcher on the way. HBOMax will debut the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League in the Spring of next year.

Continue reading Geekville Radio #266In a surreal segment during DC Fandome, Batman Beyond collided with the classic 1966 series.
DC Fandome featured an update on Black Adam by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson himself. There was a brief teaser shown, though it did not feature any live-action. The teaser is assembled with art by Jim Lee and Bosslogic and features Johnson himself narrating in character.
Matt Reeves, director of The Batman, unveiled the first look at the film. While only about 25% of the production is complete, there was still enough footage to give a basic idea of the plot.
Rocksteady Games revealed the first trailer for their upcoming game Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. While the trailer is simply CGI video with no actual gameplay, it did tell the premise of the game… In case one couldn’t figure that out from the title.
One of the biggest geek stories of the year has been The Snyder Cut Movement, which saw fans worldwide raise demand for Zack Snyder’s original vision of Justice League.
