Marvel Casts Their MCU Namor

We’ve heard for the better part of two years that Namor The Sub-Mariner may be the antagonist for the second Black Panther movie. Then the tragic and untimely passing of actor Chadwick Boseman caused massive changes in the film’s direction. Now officially titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the sequel is set to begin production next month.

Sony Casts Their Kraven

One of the more famous members of Spider-Man’s rogue’s gallery will be brought to the big screen in 2023. The Wrap reports that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will portray the title character in Kraven The Hunter. If that name sounds familiar, it may be because Taylor-Johnson portrayed Quicksilver in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

Superman Animated Series Headed to HBO Max

Why should Batman have all the fun? Warner Bros. have announced an all-new Superman animated series headed to HBO Max. The series has already been greenlit for two seasons and presumably will air sometime in 2022.

It’s hard to believe that it was nearly 30 years ago when Batman: The Animated Series debuted on the Fox Network. It may be even harder to believe that it was only the second-ever Batman TV show. Now, 30 years and countless other shows later, ol’ Bats is headed back to the small screen in the form of Batman: Caped Crusader. Not only that, the show will be headed up by the impressive trio of JJ Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Bruce Timm.
