One of the shining moments of Christopher Eccleston’s lone season was the two part story The Empty Child/The DoctorDances by Stephen Moffat. The story has Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor in World War II Era London encountering a wandering child in a gas mask. The eerie phrase “Are you my mummy” has become iconic in Modern Who lore.
