Oscar Isaac will portray the Marvel MCU title character in the Disney+ series Moon Knight.
While not yet officially confirmed by Marvel or Disney, the news was stated in an Instagram post by the show’s cinematographer Gregory Middleton.

Well the secret is out. It’s an honor to be a part of introducing a new character to the MCU #MoonKnight. Who says cinematographers worry about white costumes! … not if they are complex characters played by an amazing performer like @officialoscarrisaac .

This puts Isaac on a unique list of actors who have had more than one Marvel role. He previously portrayed Apocalypse in 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse.
Marc Spector, aka Moon Knight, was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, and first appeared in Marvel Comics Werewolf By Knight #32 published in 1975. Moon Knight is currently in pre-production and is set for a six-episode run on Disney+.
