As most ardent fans know, the Star Wars timeline is typically built around the events of the original 1977 film. The years are usually dated BBY (Before The Battle Of Yavin) or ABY (After The Battle Of Yavin).
But what if actual real-world dates were used? Would that put the galactic history into a more relatable perception? For simplicity’s sake, we’ll still center the timeline around the original Star Wars film from 1977. From there, we’ll use the matching years.
