It is time for Examining The Dead’s “31 Lesser-Known Horror Films”! This is our 3rd annual undertaking of this event. Simple rules. Every day in October we will post the trailer to a lesser-known or underappreciated horror film. This should give even the most devout horror mavens something to think about for their Halloween viewing this year.

This is a special episode of Examining The Dead devoted to the list of 31 Horror Movie trailers for Halloween. Crazy Train excluded any major hits such as Friday The 13th or Nightmare On Elm St. and focused on some of the lesser-known gems.
First up, 2011’s The Rite starring Anthony Hopkins and Colin O’Donoghue. It is inspired by a true story involving exorcism.
Also, the 2018 Halloween reboot, now available on home video.

Independent film group Radical Talent produced this impressive fanfilm pitting slasher icons Michael Myers from Halloween and Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th against each other in a Dream Battle. Or is it Nightmare Battle?
