The Next Star Wars Tales Series Focuses on The Underworld

May 4 is the “Official Unofficial Star Wars Day”. Disney/LucasFilm celebrates May the Fourth by releasing Star Wars content under the Tales Of title. This year, we get Tales of the Underworld.

As the trailer shows, we will get two stories. Both stories center around fan-favorite characters: Dooku’s Apprentice/Assassin Asajj Ventress and Bounty Hunter Cad Bane. Ventress was introduced way back in 2003 in the original Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series by Dexter’s Lab creator Genndy Tartakovsky. Bane debuted a few years later in the 2008 series.

It also looks like both stories will be personal, with Ventress taking on a protoge and Bane settling a grudge. It also looks like both will take place in the Rise of the Empire era between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
