SO WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?

We know from the first trailer that The TVA sent a retired Deadpool to correct the timeline. We’ll likely get the dead Wolverine during this initial meeting. It’s a pretty safe bet that the Wolverine we get in the rest of the film is that same variant. Hence why Deadpool has to get him in the first place.

There are a ton of gags and references to the other Marvel movies in this trailer so it’s likely we’ll get a ton more in the film itself. Pair those Easter eggs with Deadpool’s fourth-wall-breaking commentary, and you get a surefire-winning format for a hit movie in an otherwise lackluster MCU phase.
