2:00 – MCU Ditching Kang?
Rumors abound that Marvel may replace Kang with DoctorDoom as the main villain for the next few Avengers movies. Actor Jonathan Majors, who portrayed Kang for Phases Four and Five of The MCU, is in a lot of legal trouble for alleged misconduct. Normally, a character could just be recast, but it’s rumored that a Majors’ contract explicitly states that he will portray ALL variants of Kang in the MCU. Thus, Marvel may not be able to recast the character.

7:20 – Dave Filoni Promoted to Chief Creative Officer
Fan-favorite Dave Filoni has been promoted to Chief Creative Officer at LucasFilm. This means he will oversee the production of all Star Wars productions, not just the ones he helps develop.
10:00 – GxK Trailer
Legendary Pictures released the first trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the next film in the Monsterverse franchise. We get a gist of the plot as well as a brief look at the apparent villain, another giant ape named Scar King.
14:00 – Godzilla Minus One Review
Toho Studios released their first Godzilla movie since 2016, Godzilla Minus One. Unlike the recent Monsterverse films, it’s not a big budget blockbuster. It’s a story of tragedy in the vein of the original 1954 Gojira.
