Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 11 “Point of No Return” Review

The Empire finally catches up to the heroes and Omega makes another risky decision.

SPOILER WARNING! The following contains spoilers for The Bad Batch Episode Point of No Return! Do not proceed if you wish to avoid spoilers!

MAJOR POINTS

  • Omega turned herself in to The Empire
  • Wrecker is severely injured following the destruction of The Marauder

Clone X tracks Omega (and The Bad Batch) to Pabu and brings a Venerator class Star Destroyer with him. The Marauder is destroyed and Wrecker is critically injured. Clone X warns The Mayor that the island will burn until Omega is found. Hunter goes on a one-man killing spree before getting shot down over the ocean by Clone X.

With Wrecker neutralized and Hunter stuck in the water, Omega decides to turn herself in rather than see more people suffer. Crosshair reluctantly agrees but fails to attach a homing beacon on the Imperial ship that takes her. Thus, Omega is left alone to be taken back to Mount Tantiss.

MAJOR QUESTIONS

  • How will the team manage to locate Mount Tantiss? And how will they get there?
  • How long before Dr. Hemlock suspects Dr. Karr of treason?
  • Will Omega meet any of the other children test subjects?

FINAL GRADE: A

It looks like we are moving into the final act. Omega has effectively been marooned with The Empire. My suspicion is Cad Bane and/or Asajj Ventress will be part of the solution to locating Mount Tantiss. It will be interesting to see if they will help the team or not.
