Jonathan Majors dropped by Marvel – What could this mean?
Marvel has to make a pretty major decision if they haven’t already.
Option 1: Recast Kang – This seems to be the most likely possibility to most. After all, Kang has many variants and identities. Allegedly, Majors’ contract states that he would play Kang and all his variants. If that
Option 2: Replace Kang – If Kang can’t be recast, then the next logical option would be to replace him with a different villain.
But that begs the question “Who should replace Kang as the main villain?” There are a few villains who could figuratively fill Kang’s shoes.
- Doctor Doom – This is the most likely possibility because Doom is rumored to show up anyway.
- Ravonna Renslayer – She has the connection to Kang in the comics, but she is not an A-Lister.
- Loki – The God Of Mischief seems to have turned over a new leaf through the two seasons of Loki on Disney+. However, the second season ended with Loki becoming The God of Stories. Even if Loki doesn’t twist the MCU to do his bidding, he still may have a hand in ushering whomever the next big villain is.
